Somers Randolph is not a jewelry designer, he is a sculptor.

The SOMERS collection begins its life as soapstone sculpture hand carved by Somers Randolph. Each tiny carving is cast, first in wax and then in solid precious metal. This jewelry is never a drawing. Stone becomes silver and gold, the alchemy of the SOMERS collection.

But before alchemy, there was chemistry.

Somers Randolph is a nationally recognized sculptor. He has carved stone for over thirty years, in Santa Barbara, in Nashville, and now in Santa Fe. Hillary Fitzpatrick traveled from New York’s high-profile fashion world to New Mexico in 1999. She parked in Somers’ driveway to tour the Galleries on Canyon Road. He invited her for a cup of coffee. They were married just over a year later.

In the meantime, Hillary discovered a trunk full of small soapstone carvings that Somers had squirreled away in his studio. She saw her future…a jewelry company.  They cast limited editions of the first eight designs and launched a dynasty, sculpture as jewelry.

Hillary has since guided the sculptor and the careful growth of the company. She’s added a signature tension clasp, extensive colored leather combinations, and made sure that the SOMERS brand is constantly fresh and fashionable.

To understand the appeal of the SOMERS jewelry, simply wear a piece. Feel the weight of solid silver and pure gold. Experience its substance and allure at the throat, on the ears or wrist.  This is jewelry that demands to be picked up and held, to be worn and cherished.

One word describes SOMERS jewelry…timeless.  Always striking, forever fashionable, these elegant designs eclipse seasonal trends with classic style.
