Angela’s jewelry roots trace back 40+ years to undergraduate and graduate work in Art at SUNY New Paltz. Exploring design and fabrication in the both jewelry and lapidary arts, her work has been nationally and internationally exhibited and collected. Angela’s designs may be found in several magazine and book publications, including Oppi Untracht ‘s Jewelry, Concepts and Technologies , Renée Newman’s Pearl Buying Guide, Fred Ward’s Phenomenal Gems, and a JCK cover. A necklace and earring set was worn by an Oscar presenter at the Academy Awards.
Most current accolades include 2002 AGTA Cutting Edge 2nd place objects of art division and the 2009 Grand Prize Winner Headley Whitney Museum Bibelot Design Competition. She is now a juror for this year’s completion.
When not working Angela can be found tramping thought the woods, walking the beach or most importantly, playing with grandkids.
